D. P. Jon Cermin has been operating a jib since 1993, starting with the Cam Mate and ultimately purchasing a Stanton Jimmy Jib Extreme in 1998. He has operated for live and taped events for agency, broadcast and corporate clients.
Jib projects include ESPN Boxing, ESPN’s Outside the Lines show open, Lockheed’s Joint Strike Fighter full-scale mock-up roll out, the Dallas Women’s Museum promo, the St. Paul Ice Palace closing event (featuring the Bare Naked Ladies), Toyota regional spots, Sleep Experts regional spots, the WNBA All Star Game, ABC’s Great American Christmas Light Fights, Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods album rollout, and the Luther Point Bible Camp marketing DVD, to name a few.
Jon has also been the jib operator for many arena and concert events such as corporate meetings and music concerts/festivals. Festival events include The Billy Graham Crusade, Sonshine, Joyful Noise, Rockfest and Countryfest.
